Dear Parents and Carers,
On Thursday 16th October, Class 3M and the Bungalow will be visiting Chetwynd Deer Park, to take part in a 2 hour nature activity session. We will be leaving promptly on Thursday at 9am, so please ensure your child is on time.
We will be walking, leaving NJS at 9am, up to the pedestrian entrance (off Chester Road, opposite Deer Park Drive) and walking back again for 12pm. Please check the weather forecast on the day and dress accordingly. Children need the following:
- wear suitable clothing and footwear for the outdoor activities (no jeans please). It may be wet grass / some mud, potentially.
- a warm, waterproof (if possible) jacket /coat as we will be outside regardless of the weather.
- a change of footwear for when they are back in class in the afternoon
The children will leave their school bags here at school but may take their water bottle and suitable snack. Lunchtime will take place at school as normal. The session is free of charge. Most children’s parents have now given consent, however any children without consent will remain in school with the other classes in Year 3.
