I say it every half term but it needs to be said…. ‘what a busy half term’!!!
We started with a telephone call from OFSTED on our first day back; inspectors spent two days in school looking at the quality of provision. Our report is due out imminently on our return after the Easter Holidays and we will share this with you as soon as it is published.
We were delighted to be able to resume our residential visit provision. Three have taken place during the last month! Arthog, Edgmond and Manor Adventure have all given our children enjoyable, memorable and invaluable experiences. The children have all been a delight to take away and we are incredibly proud of the compassion and courage shown on their adventures. Of course these opportunities only happen because we have a staff committed to the children and willing to take time away from their own families: huge thanks to all of them.
We have been thrilled to resume our extensive club provision. We know how much this means to the children and how much enrichment this offers to our curriculum. Team NJS are very proud to offer free, wide ranging clubs and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the children pursue existing and new interests.
I’d like to thank the children: they are genuinely at the heart of everything we do and as always make it so worthwhile with their resilience and positive attitude. They are a credit to our school family.
Thank you to our NJS parents and carers for their continued support as we work hard to support our children to achieve and learn to make a difference. Working together means we really can achieve great things for our children.
The NJS staff are exceptional: they work tirelessly with incredible commitment to our school family. I hope they do realise the difference they make each day.
Everyone deserves a super Easter break, I hope you all have a lovely time with family and friends.
Take care
Mrs M x
