This is the final reminder for all parent who have not yet sent in their child’s Arthog medical form and code of conduct to return it back into school.
These need to be back in the school office no later than Wednesday 27th March. Failure to do so may result in your child being unable to attend the residential.
Please send them back into the school office for Mrs Sidaway’s or Mrs Stanley’s attention.
Many thanks
Mr M
Please see the flyer about BEAM closing including signposts to available support.
Members of our school family are welcome to wear their favourite socks for World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st March (there is no charge for this, it is a date to raise awareness). This is a global awareness day which NJS will be marking with classroom based activities where we will be exploring #EndTheStereotypes.
Parents and Carers
A family have made us aware that their child was added to a group of 700+ members that included some inappropriate content. We would like to make you aware of this so that you can check your child’s phone.
We would also like to offer some useful advice on WhatsApp and remind you of the age guidance for this app which is 16+.
Your child’s school is working on a project with us at Telford & Wrekin Educational Psychology Service, promoting emotional wellbeing through the Sandwell Charter Mark process. The Sandwell Wellbeing Charter Mark was originally developed in Sandwell in 2015 and explores social, emotional, and mental health through a whole-school approach which aims to recognise a school’s commitment towards improving the social, emotional, and mental health of its staff and families.
Collecting the authentic voice of the whole school community is important to this project and we invite you to share your views via an anonymous online survey. Please use the below link to access the survey, which should take around 15-20 minutes to complete.

Once we have collected the views of pupils, parents/carers and staff, they will be analysed, written into a report and fed back to the school where we will work collaboratively to address any areas for development. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind Regards,
Lara Amos-Earle
Assistant Educational Psychologist
As we approach the end of the financial year it is important that all school meal accounts are cleared. We will be sending regular emails, should you fall into arrears, reminding you to pay the debt. The office will also contact you by phone should the arrears increase.
Thank you for your support.
