We have some reported cases of Head lice in school. Please check your children regularly and treat appropriately. Some advice is linked below from the NHS: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/head-lice-and-nits/
There are electronic gates at the visitors entrance to the school. There has previously been a push button to exit via this gate. We have become increasingly concerned by children using this push button themselves to leave via this exit through a busy visitors and disabled car park.
To ensure children only leave through the gates at the children’s entrance a key pad has been installed on that gate. If you should need to leave through that gate as you have visited school during the school day please press the call button and the gate will be opened for you.
Please can we remind you that for the children’s safety they should be arriving and leaving school through the children’s entrance gates.
Meetings for Year 3/4 will be on Monday 25th March and for Years 5 and 6 Tuesday the 26th March. Letters will come home for you to complete the reply slip and return to your class teacher.
Next Thursday, 21st March, at 2.30pm we are holding an assembly for Year 5 children to share their Arthog experiences. Parents are welcome to attend.
Help raise awareness by wearing the brightest, most colourful socks you can find, preferably mixing and matching pairs until your feet light up the room!
Please note there is no charge for this and children should wear usual school uniform other than their socks!
We had a lovely drink and a natter to celebrate their Head teacher awards!
