Please note that parents and carers should not be using school car parks at drop off and pick up times: this is a risk to pedestrians.
Please can we also remind parents that when dropping off and picking up for Noahs Ark Breakfast and After School Club you should not be using the staff car park.
Thank you for your support to keep our children and site safe.
Did you know Eco Club litter pick across our school grounds twice every week? Watch this video to find out more… 🦔
Did you know we also recycle crisp packets in school? Watch this video from Eco Club to find out more!
Remember, please also save your crisp packets at home and bring them in! There is a crisp packet bin in the entrance to the Victorian Block and also one in the hall for crisps in lunchboxes!
Families can save any broken or run-out pens from home too!
And have you thought about collecting in your place of work? Save them and send them in with your child to put in our boxes!
Here is a great video from Eco Club to remind all children to put all their used-up pens in the NJS pen recycling bins! Remember, year 3, 4, and 5 all have their own pen bins in or outside their classrooms. Year 6 have a big one in the entrance to the Victorian Block.
Eco Club has been working very hard recently at NJS. Here is a short video explaining what we do! Keep your eyes peeled on the website and email bulletins soon for more videos about what we do and how you can help… 🌍💚
Last night we entered the first round of the Shropshire Plate. We were in a small league of 4 in which we played 3 ten minute games. The girls played some excellent football resulting in two wins and a draw which meant we finished top of the group and will now progress into round 2! Well done girls!

We will be asking children to please donate £1 to Pudsey for Children in Need this year.
All children will take part in a Children in Need 5 minute workout in class.
Children need to bring their PE kit with them that day.
It is NOT a mufti day
Follow this link to see what we’ll be doing: Children in Need Workout.
Pudsey is also coming to visit. He has some wrist bands and other goodies for sale if you’d like something from Pudsey – bring some money to spend!
Thank you to all the parents and relatives who came along to today’s Year 6 open lunch on arithmetic. It was lovely to see so many family members there.
As discussed we are sharing the weblinks, useful resources and some of the calculation methods for you to support your child at home.
Thank you for your feedback! Thank you for your continued support.
Please find attached the PTA Newsletter: thank you for supporting them.
A massive well done to everyone who shopped at Aldi, sending into school the stickers for the Sports Equipment. We are pleased to say we have filled 6 posters – receiving over 900 stickers (1 sticker per £30 shop!!), I think we’ve assisted with Aldi’s profits!!
Any remaining stickers will be donated to other local school who still need to fill there posters!
Mrs Moody and the Guardians of Safety led an assembly today to start off National Anti-Bullying Week. The assembly focused on a definition of what bullying is and how we all work together to stop bullying.
In school we use the word STOP to help remind children when an incident is bullying.
Several Times On Purpose! If somebody does something to you, Several Times On Purpose, that’s bullying. STOP Bullying!
All classrooms have a child friendly anti-bullying leaflet full of advice and tips for children who feel like they need help with bullying. We encourage all children to speak up and tell someone they trust.
Please see the assembly notes below.
Remember to wear odd socks tomorrow, Tuesday 12th November to show support for our anti-bullying message.
Please remember this is the last week for after school clubs until the Spring.
