Ben & the Telford and Wrekin Swim Team!
After a successful NJS swimming gala back in April, Ben from Year 6 had one of the fastest times in his event and therefore qualified for the Telford and Wrekin Swim team. On Thursday he represented T&W in the medley relay, finishing in 3rd place. However, these point combined with the other results meant that Ben and the T&W schools team finished in 1st Place!!
A massive achievement for Ben and his team! Well done Ben, all at NJS are super, super proud!!
Yr 6 Transition Reminder
A reminder that Yr 6 children who are attending BBS or NGHS in September will be at their new school on Monday & Tuesday for transition.
Children attending HAGS will be in school as normal on these days.
Children attending BBS/NGHS are required to wear their green school jumpers/cardigans for these transition days, not their blue leavers hoodies.
We hope the children have a brilliant time finding out about life at their new school and we very much look forward to hearing about it on Wednesday!

Dinner Arrears….
Please can we ask that all families access ParentPay and clear their dinner arrears. We would appreciate your support: at the end of term NJS are liable for any arrears and this loss of money impacts on the work we can do in school with the children.
If you believe you may be entitled to Free School Meals please do make an application: https://www.telford.gov.uk/info/20028/school_meals/9/free_school_meals
Thank you in advance of your support.

Year 6 Leavers Lunch!
Year 6 children have chosen the menu for ‘Leavers Day’ on Thursday 18th July!
Pizza with a choice of ham, pineapple or pepperoni topping served with potato smiles, sweetcorn and peas.
Chocolate brownies and ice cream.
This will be the menu on the 18th July for the whole school.
Parking
Please can I ask our school family for their support: to enable safe travel to school we ask that you do not park or pull up on Avenue Road at drop off or pick up times.
We need pedestrians to be able to safely cross the road.
We thank you for your support.
