NJS Awarded – Global Neighbours Bronze Award!
NJS are delighted to announce that we have been award the Global Neighbours Bronze Award for our commitment to issues of climate change, global poverty & social inequalities.
The assessor commented on the “clear commitment by leaders at all levels, including governors, to making the school a place where its vision and values are rooted in global citizenship.”
Further in the report, praise was given to the progress we have made in ensuring our children receive a quality education in global citizenship: “The school’s journey towards establishing a culture of global concern, underpinned by an inspiring global curriculum is impressive.”
The pinnacle of this was our amazing work on Toilet Twinning, which helped to out toilet blocks and sanitary water in 6 of the poorest parts of the word.
We are only the second school in the Telford & Wrekin area to be awarded this accreditation and are very proud of the hard work of our staff & children.
European Day of Languages 5J
