Just a reminder that Yr 6 will be swimming on MONDAY next week due to our Light Workshop taking place on Tuesday.

Please ensure your swimming kit is in school on Monday.

6K at Beech’s base

We have a busy day planned for Tuesday. We have the light dome in the morning and Beech’s base in the afternoon. Children are welcome to come to school in their Beech’s base clothing, but I do ask that they wear appropriate shoes/trainers for the morning activities. Wellies and outdoor coats will be needed for the afternoon.

6B earlier start on Tuesday

Dear parents of 6B,
As you know, Explorer Dome are coming to visit year 6 on the morning of Tuesday 24th October. The first show begins at 8:45am, so please could I ask that members of class 6B only come to school at the earlier time of 8:30am.

6J Beech’s Base

Thank you to Miss Lockwood & Mr Leonard for giving 6J such a wonderful time in Beech’s Base yesterday afternoon. As part of our Science work on light, the children managed to make a sun dial! They also got the chance to practise den building, fire lighting and some woodwork.

Yr 6 TTRS Battle – PRIZES AVAILABLE

Starting Wednesday, there will be a TTRS battle between the three Yr 6 classes! This battle will last over the weekend and finish on Monday morning!

There are prizes available for the top scoring accounts, plus those that play the most minutes! The winning class will also receive some extra break time as a class reward!

Every child should have their TTRS log in handy, please see your class teacher if you don’t have yours available.

Remember 6J, you are at Beech’s Base on Wednesday afternoon with Miss Lockwood.

Please bring your forest clothes to school in a spare bag to change into. Miss Lockwood has lots of activities planned for you to do linked into your science curriculum on light.
