YEAR 4 – LICHFIELD TRIP – REMINDERS!
Good morning year 4!
We hope that you have all have a lovely half term. Tomorrow (Tuesday 4th June), we will be heading to Lichfield Cathedral for our ‘Inspire’ trip. Below are a few reminders for this:
- Please ensure you drop your child/children off at 8:15am. We will be leaving promptly at 8:30am.
- Please provide your child with a packed lunch in a plastic bag that they can throw away. Any children who are in receipt of free school meals will have a meal provided for them from our school kitchen.
- Bring a water bottle for the day.
- Any travel sickness medication needs to be handed to the teachers with instructions.
- The day ends between 2:00-2:30pm. We will post and ETA on the website and school Facebook page.
- Children are required to wear school uniform. Lichfield can be cold even on a hot day so it is recommended that children come with a cardigan/fleece etc.
We are looking forward to the day!
The Year 4 Team
Year 4 TTRS Battle
We have not set any homework in books over half term for Year 4. We have set up a TTRS battle between 4M, 4N and 4OP. We have set a time limit of 30 minutes per day. Let the battle commence!
Year 4 Lichfield Cathedral
Good Afternoon,
There are still 23 children who do not have permission to attend Lichfield Cathedral on Tuesday 4th June.
As this is the first day back after half term (Monday 3rd is a PD day), we will not have time to contact parents to request permission for attendance.
Permission needs to be given via your ParentPay account. Should you experience any difficulties with this, please contact the office (njs.admin@taw.org.uk) who will be able to support you further.
Many Thanks,
Team Year 4
MUFTI-DAY TOMORROW – 24.05.24!
Tomorrow is the day!
Mufti for £1
Y5 (& Fleur!) Girls Cricket
We had a great day today at St. George’s Cricket Club playing in the Telford and Wrekin Y5/6 Girls Cricket Competition.
The girls entered as Y4 last year and we found it very difficult losing every game and coming last. This year, we won 4/5 group games progressing to the Bronze Medal Match. Unfortunately we lost to a strong Sir Alexander Fleming side but I was so proud of the girls and seeing their improvement.
Wonder how we will get on next year with another year’s development?
Yr 4 Lichfield Cathedral Visit
Please can you check your ParentPay account and ensure you have signed up your child to the Lichfield Cathedral visit on Tuesday June 4th – the first day back after half term!!
We have a number of children who have yet to be signed up!!
Many thanks
Team Yr 4.
