Elizabeth as she is consistently very polite, swims confidently and correctly, an all round pleasure to teach.

Y5/6 Indoor Athletics

We had a fantastic day at the Y5/6 Indoor Athletics event at TCAT today. The children looked brilliant in their new sports t-shirts and competed wonderfully across a range of track and field events. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience to be a part of for Mrs Lane and myself. We eagerly await the results that will come through at the end of the week.

We will return to school on Monday 3rd November.
Please remember term dates can be found here: https://newportjuniorschool.org.uk/home/termdates/
What does good school attendance look like?

Next week you will receive a copy of your child’s current Attendance certificate for this academic year. A letter will be attached enabling you to understand good attendance and how you can contact us with any queries.
IMPORTANT
Please can we remind parents and carers that NJS does not supervise children until 8.45am.
When children are waiting to be collected by their teachers they should be stood on the playground and not running around, scooting or cycling. We also ask, for their safety, that children are not on the field or in the trees. This of course also applies to younger siblings.
Thank you for your support.
