Dear Parents and Carers,
Attached is the latest Online Safety Newsletter for May 2026.
Online Safety Newsletter Primary May 2026
This month’s edition includes:
- Group Chats – risks, how to make them safer, info and links.
- FreezeNova (Unblocked Games) – free to access and contains a wide variety of games, including shooting, multiplayer and racing games. This site may bypass usual filters, making it easier for your child to access games that you may not want them to play.
- Roblox – update – new, age-based accounts, parental controls, further info and links.
- Screen Time Guidance for under-5s – links
- ‘Looksmaxxing’– what it is, risks, links to the ‘Manosphere’ and advice links.
- PEGI Expanded Age Ratings – From June, PEGI is adding new categories to its age ratings for games. See the link for details.
As always, please contact myself or Mrs Moody should require further information.
Kind regards,
Mr Butler
