Leavers Party

staff provided a leavers party for the Year 6 children on Thursday!

The children enjoyed a range of activities including a Photo Booth, guess the staff member baby photo, quiz, dodgeball and football!

This was all followed by chip shop chips and an ice lolly!

Thank You PTA

Our PTA have worked so hard with their fundraising this year. We are very grateful to them for all they do for NJS.

This week we were delighted to receive delivery of four gazebos for us to use for shelter and shade on the field!

They have already been well used for lunchtimes and the leavers party tonight!

Proud of NJS….

Happy Retirement Mrs Humphries

Mrs Humphries has worked at NJS for 17 years!  She has worked across all year groups with many, many children.  She is a highly valued member of the team and we have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mrs H.

Mrs Humphries is retiring and all at NJS send her our very best wishes for a relaxing retirement and quality time with friends and family.

Thank you Mrs Ollerenshaw

After 9 years at NJS Mrs Ollerenshaw is leaving us this week for new challenges and adventures in teaching.

We are massively grateful to her for all she has done at NJs and for the difference she has made to the many children she has taught (including Mr Howells!).

We send Mrs Ollerenshaw our very best wishes.

Well done Year 6 Gold Award Winners!

This group of children achieved Year 6 gold awards!  They had their treat today: well done!

Have a lovely Summer NJS!

Thank you to everyone in our NJS family for their support this year.

Children: you have been exceptional.  You are wonderful young people who attend school with super enthusiasm for all the opportunities that we offer and make all of our hard work worthwhile.

I wish all of our Year 6 leavers all the best for their new adventures at Secondary School: I know they will continue to thrive.

Thank you to parents and carers for all of your support.  When we work together and build positive relationships our children achieve so much.

The staff team at NJS have been phenomenal this year.  It’s been a tough year for our school family and the support they have given each other and how they have led the community has been inspirational.  Thank you to them for always putting the children first and for being wonderful.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Summer: well deserved quality time with family and friends and a good rest.
