Newport Rotary have asked us to make you aware of the following festive activity:
‘Because we are unable to provide our usual Santa’s Sleigh this year we have have sponsored a photo competition for all primary and secondary aged pupils on “Newport at Christmas”. The full details are on our NRL Facebook page and there is a prize for each age range.
We are also running a set of photos on Facebook with Santa and one of his elves at different locations in the Newport locality for children to identify for fun – sorry no prize for this one but just to challenge them and for them to enjoy.
We have also provided a special post box at the “Box of Goodness” shop to receive letters to Santa which will receive a reply.
We hope some of these will bring some enjoyment to the children of Newport this year after all the other challenges everyone has had to overcome.’
