Christmas Dinner Week…
Monday 15th December to Thursday 18th December is Christmas dinner:
Monday: Year 3
Tuesday: Year 4
Wednesday: Year 5
Thursday: Year 6
On the days your child is not invited for Christmas dinner the kitchen will be offering all other children a Grab&Go option: a ham, cheese or tuna sandwich or wrap. If your child would like a Grab&Go on these dates please email their order to njs.admin@taw.org.uk by the 12th December.
Email clarification…
If you need to notify school, within the school day, of amendments to collection arrangements or club attendance etc please do not email staff personal email addresses as staff will be supervising children and unable to read these.
Please email njs.admin@taw.org.uk
Young Voices 2026!
Dear parents/carers,
Please can all families who returned consent slips for Young Voices log into ParentPay to complete consents for photos, medical etc for this visit.
For those children who are having a tshirt from school please also see payment option on ParentPay for this.
(Please note: there are some parents who have already ordered and paid for their child’s t shirt and these have been delivered to school already. You do not need to make an additional payment on Parent Pay. We have spoken to these children today to confirm this with them!)
There are some children who have expressed interest in Young Voices but we have not received a slip earlier in the term: if they would like to attend please inform the office: njs.admin@taw.org.uk
Thank you for your support.

YEAR 3 CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES
WEDNESDAY 10TH DECEMBER: YEAR 3 CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE
There will be two performances on this date and we ask that children are in school for both.
2pm: 2 audience members per child only.
6pm: 2 audience members per child only.
Please remember:
*Strictly two audience members per child per performance (any siblings or babies etc will count as one audience member). Tickets will be sent home with your child on Monday: a ticket per person however young or old(!) will need to be given in on entry. Please don’t place us in the uncomfortable position of having to ask someone to leave.
*We ask that you arrive through the front security gate.
*For the evening performance the security gate will open no earlier than 5.30pm, we will ask that you drop your child into a Year 6 classroom and then make your way into the hall.
*Photographs in this performance:
We know as parents you may wish to take photos of your child in their Christmas performance. Please note that some children, for a whole range of reasons, do not have consent for their photograph to be taken.
Please can we therefore ask that if you take photographs you try to do so only of your own child and that you do not post any photographs from this performance on social media.
We are looking forward to the performance!

Senior Citizens Christmas Tea Party!
Huge thanks to our visitors who made our tea party such a success this week. Well done to Years 3 and 6 who provided entertainment, cakes and raffle prizes. It was wonderful to welcome so many into school to begin our festive celebrations.

Concerns about parking on St Nicholas’ Park..
A resident has contacted school with concerns re inappropriate parking and idling on St Nicholas’ Park. Please can I ask for all our families to be considerate of our neighbours.
As always our request is that families walk, cycle or scoot to school. Should circumstances mean you need to drive then please use local car parks such as Shuker Field or Specsavers. Please do not park on Avenue Road or surrounding roads.
