Year 3 Christmas Fun – Thanks PTA!

Seb’s Charity Advent Running Challenge

We wanted to share with you the wonderful charity efforts of Seb in Year 6.

Seb is planning to run a minimum of 2k per day, everyday throughout advent, and then finish with a 5k parkrun in Telford on Christmas Day – also his 11th Birthday. Seb has set himself a target of raising £1,000 for charity.

This is Seb’s personal challenge for his Scouts Chief Scout Silver Award, but he would also like to raise some money for a cause close to the hearts of his family. Seb’s Grandpa struggled with dementia for a number of years, and so Seb is fundraising for Dementia UK.

If anyone wanted to learn more about Seb’s efforts or wanted to offer a donation, the link can be found here: Seb’s Just Giving Charity Page

Seb is off to a great start: Day 1 was kicked off at a rainy Telford Junior Parkrun, where he was the first finisher with a course PB of 8.10 for 2km!

Good luck, Seb! Everyone at NJS is super proud of you!

Roman Day Year 4

We have all thoroughly enjoyed Roman Day today. We have learnt so much about buildings, clothing, writing, games & the army.
