Mrs Ollerenshaw and Mrs Moody
Well done NJS!
I am so proud of the children this week, it has been wonderful to have them back at school. They have been full of enthusiasm for the new school year and eager to find out what opportunities they will have in their new class.
Classrooms have been calm and settled and teachers and children have enjoyed getting to know each other.
A special welcome to our Year 3 children and new starters throughout the school: you have settled so well, it’s like you have always been with us! We are very much looking forward to your junior school journey.
I am very grateful to parents/carers for preparing the children for the return to school: they are looking very smart and it makes things so much easier for teachers when children have what they need.
Thank you to the staff who have prepared classrooms and worked hard this week to offer the children such a positive start.
I am looking forward to our first full week next week.
Take care
Mrs M

Picture News – Live Assembly
Today children, along with 501, 350 other children from around the country took part in a live assembly focussing on Mutual Respect linking with British Values. Our children had to use this assembly as a focus for their first entry into their “Spiritual Journey” book, where we all looked at the roots of our Learning Tree, the three C’s (Community, Courage and Compassion). Please watch out for us on Newsround – as we hope to get a mention!!
Below are the year three children taking part:
