Year 4 need your recycling please!
Y4 will be making Roman shields as part of their D&T curriculum offer on Wednesday 27th November…. therefore we have a big ask please!
Please could you save and bring into school large sheets of cardboard (we are aiming for actual Roman shield size!), egg cartons and round yoghurt/fruit pots.
If your child could bring any of above into school and bring them to any of the Y4 teachers we would really appreciate your help! There may even be a house point reward!
Thank you very much!
Mrs P 🙂

NJS Boys V Priorslee Academy
Both upper school boys and lowers school boys played their first home game of the season on Thursday against Priorslee Academy, with both teams winning convincingly!
Lower school, pictured below, containing 6 debutants played superbly beating their opponents 10-1. The whole of NJS couldn’t be any prouder.
40 minutes later the upper school team took over and this match was a little trickier, with a tougher opposition. Both halves were a tightly fought affair, but NJS came out on top in each winning 2-0 overall. A super result against a very good team.
Both sets of children were praised by all who watched as well as Mr Humphries, for their excellent behaviour, super sportsmanship and excellent football skills that were on show.
Well done boys, you did NJS proud!
