Archery Competition

Well done to the children below who represent NJS in an Archery competition on Thursday 9th Jan. Along with Mr Humphries, these children travelled to Telford Tennis Centre to show case their skills with a bow and arrow! This performed exceptionally well, finish 3rd overall out of 19 schools! Mr Humphries was super impressed with their skills and talents! Well done guys!

Wheaton Aston Primary Schools Cross Country Race

The race, organised by Newport Running Club, alongside the 10k which takes place every 27th December, this year had 5 NJS runners (Seb and Phoebe in year 6, Avi, Connie & Byron in year 3 – all pictured below) with the 3 fastest runners from each school being counted for team placings.

Seb took individual 1st, Byron 5th, and Avi 8th, Phoebe 11th and Connie 13th.

They all did brilliantly in tough, cold and damp conditions! It was great to get an NJS team out this year – especially for NJS who took the team win!

Well done team – an excellent start to 2025! Lets hope for more competitors next year to retain our trophy!!

Dinner menu change for next week.

We have been notified by the kitchen there will be a change to dinner menu for Tuesday and Thursday next week.
