Online Safety Newsletter Primary Feb 2026

Welcome to the February edition of the NJS Online Safety Newsletter. In this month’s edition, we explore the following items:

  • CBeebies Parenting and App – CBeebies Parenting is full of useful
    information from creative activities, recipes and information about the
    CBeebies apps, along with free-to-download games.
  • Using AI to Alter Images –  what is it, privacy concerns and consent, what does my child need to know? What should I do? Further info.
  • TikTok – Account set-up, Family Pairing, What do I need to be aware of, Feeds, blocking and reporting.
  • Balancing screen time – Internet Matters have created simple
    tips to help you develop healthy online habits for your child.
  • 7 Steps to Good Digital Parenting – The Family Online Safety Institute have created seven steps to assist you as a digital parent. See links.
  • Children’s Commissioner launches new guide for parents and carers – The Children’s Commissioner has released a new guide to help you in managing your child’s digital life. See links.

Community Minded Yr 4 Boys!

How proud are we!! Freddie and Cohen from Yr 4 over the last two days, have taken it upon themselves to litter pick our local area. They noticed how messy it was and wanted to do something to help. Well done boys a real support to our community! Community badges coming your way!!
