Activities for those not attending Arthog
Those children not going to Arthog have a week of activities planned including a walk around Newport, including a trip to Greggs and DT modelling.
Please ensure you have given permission to do the walk to Greggs on parentpay. Children can bring up to £5 with them to spend.
Also, I would really appreciate any cardboard boxes, plastic milk bottle tops and other pieces of tin foil sent in to help us make our model buggies. The children will also need a small plastic bottle to make a lava lamp with.
Thank you in advance for the contents of your recycling bin!

“Try Rugby” Event at Newport Rugby Club
On Tuesday I had the privilege of taking some Year 3/4 children to Newport Rugby Club for a “Try Rugby” event. They took part in fun skills based activities, learned new techniques and most importantly had fun!
But the highlight of the day was that we were incredibly lucky to see the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy- which was on display for the day! A massively inspiring moment for our young players!
Our children were impeccable as per usual and Miss Wood and Mr Howell weren’t bad either!!

Yr 3/4 Girls Football 5/3/26
A lovely afternoon of football for the year girls 3/4 girls’ football team yesterday. Some of the girls were playing football for the first time, for others it was their first time playing competitively. However, with each game, the girls’ confidence grew and they began to play some great football, winning a game and drawing another. Mrs Wood is very proud of you, well done girls!
