NJS Art Gallery!

NJS Art Gallery day!
As a celebration of our Silver Artsmark Award NJS was delighted to open its Art Gallery today!
The gallery contains a piece of art work produced by all NJS children. Students from Haberdashers Adams and Newport Girls’ High have also displayed their work.
We were delighted to welcome Newport Mayor to open the gallery along with members of Art departments from our local Secondary Schools. Parents and children enjoyed the opportunity to view a wide range of Art from our community.
Huge thank you to Mrs Jukes, Ms Branton, Mrs Anderson and our Art Ambassadors for organising an amazing celebration of Art at NJS.

Thank A Teacher Day: 18th June!

Show your appreciation for your colleagues and team who make a difference in education every day. From teaching assistants to school leaders, nursery staff, to FE lecturers, every educator deserves recognition for their dedication and impact. If you’re a headteacher, please encourage your students and parents to get involved, too.

Last year, over 82,000 Thank a Teacher Day personalised e-cards were sent.

Send a free personalised e-card to express your gratitude. It’s a simple way to make someone’s day and acknowledge the vital work happening in education across the country.
