Remember to look after your sunflower!

Slightly different rates of growth for Oliver and Emilie!

Please remember to look after your sunflowers: remember the aim is for 100cm+

Keep us posted with photographs when your sunflower flowers.

Good luck everyone!

Well done Zara!

Great compassion recently shown by Zara when she cared for a baby bluetit who had fallen out of her nest. Zara gave it water and got it out of the sun.

Carnival Support & Donations – China/Chinese

Thank you to all the parents who have kindly offered to support the decoration of our school float for the Carnival. Please can I ask that you arrive at school from 8.30/45am on Saturday 13th June – please be aware many of the surrounding roads will be closed, so it might be beneficial to walk!

Here at school, please support us with string, strong tape, cable ties – decorating our float as best you can. The theme for this years Carnival is “Around the World” and we have been assigned China – children across school and Art Club have been busy making Chinese Dragons, Chinese lanterns  and other decorations, which has been a massive help – the redder the better!!

*** If anyone has anything Chinese themed or Chinese related that they are willing to donate to our Carnival float, then please send into school for the attention of Mr M. this can be anything that you think will suit the theme and will stand out on our float***

many thanks

PE Kits / Toys

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has come to my attention that children are regularly bringing in ‘Fugglers’ (collectable keychain / rings with small characters attached) and other small toys. Unfortunately, these items are not allowed in class. Therefore, please ensure they stay at home from now on.

On another note, please ensure your child has their PE kit in school EVERY day. This is because we are taking opportunities to practice for Sports Day, which may be on any day of the week. This allows for maximum flexibility.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr Butler

Changes to Grab & Go

From next week, the kitchen will be stopping the pre-order slips for Grab & Go and allow children to order a Grab & Go meal on the day.

In this summer term, children will be able to take their Grab & Go meal outside and sit with their friends to eat.

Thank you,

Mr Rotherham
