School Uniform
Please find our uniform policy here: Uniform-Policy

If you are interested in pre loved uniform: Simply register using the weblink above. If you see an item you would like please ‘send a message’ stating your child’s full name and class. The school office will then send this item home with your child on the next school day. Easy!
If you require anything ahead of September we can make this available to collect on the PD days and will message you back, via ‘oldschooluniform.co.uk’ to confirm.
We hope this helps families to access pre loved uniform with ease.
Please remember throughout the year we appreciate donations of pre loved uniform to NJS: please bring it to the school office (green jumpers, logo polo shirts, grey items, fleeces… all appreciated!)

Homework
At NJS you will receive half termly homework. At the start of a half term teachers will communicate to you a ‘menu’ of homework to be completed over the half term.
In addition each week teachers will send home a selection of spellings for the children to practise.
We of course expect the children to read at home at least three times a week and for this to be documented in their Reading Diaries. We have useful book recommendations here on our Reading Newsletters: https://newportjuniorschool.org.uk/home/learning/subjects-2/reading/
