PE Kits / Toys

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has come to my attention that children are regularly bringing in ‘Fugglers’ (collectable keychain / rings with small characters attached) and other small toys. Unfortunately, these items are not allowed in class. Therefore, please ensure they stay at home from now on.

On another note, please ensure your child has their PE kit in school EVERY day. This is because we are taking opportunities to practice for Sports Day, which may be on any day of the week. This allows for maximum flexibility.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr Butler

Year 3 Swimming kits and PE

Dear Parents and Carers,

Just a quick reminder to bring swimming kits tomorrow, and a reminder, due to several recent losses of kit, to please name every item of clothing, including shoes, socks and underwear!

Also, please can we request that all children bring their normal PE kit in on a Monday, leave it in school, and take home on a Friday. This is because we will be practicing for Sports Day over the coming weeks and also taking opportunities to do PE when they arise, due to timetabling changes that sometimes occur at this time of year.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Year 3 Team.

Lost swimming Shorts and goggles 3B

Dear Parents and Carers,

Please could you check that your child (boys only) has their own swimming kit and goggles? Someone in my class has misplaced his kit, which is a named pair of shorts, and a blue pair of goggles.

Many thanks,

Mr Butler

Class 3B reminder – Beech’s Base Tuesday 28th April

Dear Parents and Carers,

Just a quick clarification – Beech’s Base is on Tuesday 28th April for Class 3B, as stated in last week’s Year 3 diary entry.  Apologies for any confusion caused by previous older communications. Please pass on this message to those parents in 3B whom you may know.

Once again, my apologies for any confusion.

Kind regards,

Mr Butler

Class 3B Lost School Uniform

Dear Parents and Carers,

Unfortunately today, at the end of swimming, several boys misplaced / mixed up items of clothing in the changing area and were not able to identify their own clothing despite a huge check/search!  Therefore, please could I request that you check that your child has:

  • come home in their own uniform;
  • not brought home someone else’s uniform in their bag by mistake.

If this is the case, please return any lost items to me tomorrow, specifically a pair of boys grey trousers age 8-9 belonging to Lennox, and a white t-shirt belonging to Teddy (not sure if either are labelled).

Could I also make a polite request that ALL items of uniform (including shoes, socks and underwear!) are labelled with name tags, to prevent future problems of this type. A significant amount of time was spent today, trying to locate items, so it would be in everyone’s interests if clothing was clearly labelled in future, especially as it all looks the same!

Thank you for your continued support.

Mr Butler
