On Tuesday afternoon 4OP had a fantastic time painting journeys and landscapes in the style of Aboriginal art. Well done 4OP – they look amazing!

4OP Wednesday Violin and Beeches Base
Please can 4OP come in to school in school uniform tomorrow (Wednesday) for their violin performance. They will need to bring Beeches Base clothes to change into for the afternoon. Remember to pack layers – it looks like it might be chilly!
4OP Friday Gymnastics!
4OP had a fantastic time this morning in the hall performing partner balances. They showed great strength and control. Some groups then created a routing including the balances. All children also enjoyed using the apparatus. Reminder to all children – please remember your PE kits on a Friday – there were a few children without their PE kit in school.
4OP Be Bright Be Seen Walk to School

4OP Most Valuable Players TTRS
Congratulations to the most valuable boys and girls in 4OP in the class TTRS battle over half term!
4OP Remembrance
Children in 4OP have tied ribbons on to the railings by the playground to remember the soldiers that fought in WW1. In English this week we have read the story ‘Flo of the Somme’ and today, 4OP have enjoyed learning about the symbolism of red, white, purple and black poppies.
4OP Movie Afternoon
4OP are feeling very happy and have settled down to a movie afternoon. A well deserved treat after a very busy and successful half term.
4OP French Singing
4OP showed their linguistic ability when they sang a French Greetings Song. They even managed to sing the song in a round!
4OP Violins
4OP had a fantastic session this morning learning how to use the bow.
