Yesterday in science, 6B were looking at our hearts and pulse. We conducted an experiment to see which sport or activity raised our pulse the most.

One of our PE units this half term is ‘dance’. Today we watched some haka’s from the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team and then had a go at doing a class one. We learnt that the haka is performed in beats of 4 and enjoyed performing these to the rest of the class. Check out some of our scary faces!

Lots of fun being had in our dance lesson during PE this week and last.

Year 6 had a great time Wednesday morning in the music and acting workshop. Everyone worked brilliantly in small groups and learnt lots of new skills. Well done year 6!
