Year 4 Homework
Dear Year 4 Parents and Guardians,
We will be sending paper copies of the year 4 homework out tomorrow, along with the children’s homework books. We kindly ask if homework could return no later than Monday the 18th of July.
Kindest regards the Year 4 team π
4J at The Wolseley Wildlife Cente
4J thoroughly enjoyed their trip to The Wolseley Centre yesterday. 4J learnt many facts about the river Trent. The children enjoyed participating in nature art & pond dipping too.
4NJ at The Wolseley Wildlife Centre
All of the children had a fabulous time at the Wolseley Wildlife Centre today. We enjoyed recording & studying the speed at which the river Trent flows. We also loved our Nature art & investigating which insects live within lakes. Well done year 4 π
Messy Maths 4NJ
We have thoroughly enjoyed our messy maths day at school today. We have created Venn diagrams, fraction walls, we enjoyed estimating and measuring too.
4NJ Celebrating The Platinum Jubilee
We have all had a wonderful day Celebrating the Platinum Jubilee. The children have enjoyed performing their songs from the 1960βs & absolutely loved the tea party too. Happy half term children. π
4NJ Investigating the permeability of rocks
We have investigated the permeability of chalk, marble & granite. We have scratched the surfaces using paper clips. We have also placed water droplets as well as vinegar to observe what happens.
Congratulations to our art club members π
Well done to all of our children who participate in art club & I would also like to thank Miss Jenkins, Miss Branton, Miss Crompton & Mrs Wood who have all worked exceptionally hard to produce the most fabulous stage backdrop for our Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Best wishes Mrs Jukes π
