Please can we remind Parents and Carers that if your child will be absent from school we request that you contact the school office: 01952 386600 between 8.30am and 9.15am with the details of the absence.

Please can we also remind Parents and Carers that children are expected to arrive at school between 8.45am and 8.55am.  The register will be taken in class at 8.55am and if children are late they will receive a Late mark on the register.  We know children find it really difficult entering lessons late that have already begun.  We ask for your support to ensure they arrive at school on time and ready to join their friends with their learning.

Please remember that we ask that PE kits are brought into school on a Monday and they will be returned home on a Friday.

From Monday we will be ‘stepping down’ our COVID measures at NJS:

*We will resume clubs.

*We will resume whole school assemblies and lunchtimes.

*Staff will no longer have to wear face coverings in communal areas.

Of course should we have concerns around outbreaks we will follow advice from the Health Protection Hub.

Book Week 2022

Thursday is World Book Day and children are welcome to come to school dressed as their favourite book character.  Weather permitting if you would like to see a parade of costumes please make your way to the main playground for 9am.

Get Caught Reading 2022

This half term Years 5 and 4 will be swimming, starting from the 28th February.

Mondays: Year 5

Tuesdays: Year 4

Please remember to send your child with a towel, costume/trunks, a swimming hat and if you wish goggles.

Please help us by ensuring all uniform and swimming items are labelled with your child’s name.
