Bring your tissues for a spine-tingling performance of the classic musical based on the novel by Victor Hugo.

Sessions run nightly at 7.30pm from Wednesday 9th July to Friday 11th July, with a matinée performance at 2.30pm on Saturday 12th July.

Doors open at 7pm on Wednesday – Friday and 2pm on Saturday.

Drinks and snacks will be available from Adams PM in support of the music department.

Newport Hockey Club are leading some hockey sessions with Y3 and Y4 this half term, we are really grateful for the opportunity to extend our knowledge of the sport!

These 12 cupcakes were generously donated to our school by local business ‘Immy’s Cakes & Bakes’ to support out cake sale during Friday’s Clean Water Day! The sale of these cakes contributed towards our final donation amount which will help Water Aid to support communities across the globe in the fight for access to clean water.

We appreciate the support that this wonderful local business has shown to our school!

A massive thank you to each and every person that helped make today a success at NJS! From wearing green mufti, to your money donation, children, parents & staff that spent time making cakes, and all those of you have purchased cakes on the yard, we are very grateful for your support.

A special thank you to Henry in Yr 6, who felt passionately about the campaign for clean water and was the driving force behind today!

We raised an incredible £187 from the cake sale, and just over £200 from our mufti donations taking our total amount raised to just over £391! This will all be donated to Water Aid who will put this money towards helping people gain access to clean, hygienic water in communities across the globe.

We will update you with more information over the coming weeks, but a huge thank you for everyone’s efforts today!

Our first bronze awards have been given today, this signifies 50 positive points being awards given for the schools values! Well done to the four children pictured below, who are now well on their way to a platinum award! This is part of our ever successful transition programme, ensuring our Year 6 pupils are secondary ready!
