I am making you aware that our fire alarms were triggered just after 11am today. The children were absolutely brilliant in evacuating the building promptly and safely and we are very proud of them. Following inspection of the building the children were able to return to class.
Thank you to all of the staff for their support. Special thanks to the lunch team who were able to make swift arrangements to ensure the children received their food on time (unfortunately the spaghetti bolognaise could not be ‘saved’ so nuggets and chips were offered for those who wanted a hot meal).
I have praised the children in assembly this afternoon and reassured them.
