Philosophy for Children (P4C)

Posted on 12th June 2020 by Mr Rotherham

Some ideas here to encourage children’s thinking skills.

Philosophy for Children (P4C) encourages thinking, speaking and listening skills. The aim of the sessions is to think about their own ideas and thoughts, to listen to their own ideas and express them clearly. They will need to listen to others and know that all opinions are valued.

The topics to talk about don’t necessarily have right or wrong answers just get us thinking and talking.

I hope you have fun with these to start you off!
