Hello Year 6.
We hope you are all well and getting on with the tasks set. Your other activity today is to do over the next two days, it includes the designing, planning and model making stages of design technology. Have fun!
Just a reminder, the size and printed name for your leavers hoodie needs to be emailed to your teacher before next Monday.
The Year 6 team.
Please make sure you and your parents have seen the message about leavers hoodies.
We would love to see more of you enjoying a special breakfast this week. Well done Edward for the photos of your fabulous bacon and egg bap.
A message from the PTA:

To order your Year 6 child’s leavers hoodie, please email your child’s class teacher with the required size and the name you want printed on it before Monday 18th. The sizes are below. If we do not hear from you in that time we will estimate the size and print the child’s first name on their hoodie.

As we’re not in for the pre-SATs breakfast, Edward has made his own this morning!
Did you make a spare one?
Hello Year 6.
Another week of home learning. This should have been the start of a big week for you but with no SATs this year we have some more home learning tasks instead. Under normal circumstances you would have had breakfast in school, maybe you could plan and make yourself and family a special breakfast this week instead?
Have a good week!
Hello NJS!
A week on Friday, it will be 75 years since VE Day- Victory in Europe day, marking the end of World War II in Europe. We were planning a tea party in school, but as we are not going to be there, we would like you to host your own tea party at home. You could make your own bunting and flags or do a bit of cooking with traditional wartime treats! There is a gov.uk website with recipe ideas and things you could do.
https://ve-vjday75.gov.uk/plan-your-ve-day-party/
However you decide to join in the celebrations, we would love to see and share the pictures.
Find out about VE Day on these links.
There are activities in the link below that use the information from the clips above.
Hello Year 6. Some fabulous pictures of home learning activities. Remember to send any others to Miss Sherry.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hello Year 6. Hope you all had a great Easter – not too many Easter eggs!
