We have made the decision to have Christmas Dinner over two days:

Tuesday 13th December: Years 3 and 4

Wednesday 14th December: Years 5 and 6

(Usual school meal charges apply)

On the date that your child is not having Christmas dinner it will be a Grab and Go option only from our catering team or your child can bring a packed lunch.

We wish to make you aware that we have cases of head lice in school.

As part of our Christmas Fair, which will be held during the school day this year for pupils only, the PTA would like to hold a toy and book fair.

If you have anything to would like to donate to this please do send your donations into school at a time convenient to you (perfect opportunity for a pre Christmas clear out!).

Please can we remind you that all NJS clubs end on Friday 25th November for this term.

We have been delighted to see so many children enjoying such a wide range of clubs.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to our dedicated staff who run this provision with their own good will; they are amazing.

In the New Year we will issue a new ‘menu’ of clubs for the Spring Term.  These are unlikely to commence until late January due to the weather and light.

As communicated earlier in the term we are bringing panto to NJS this year!

On Friday morning we have a theatre group visiting us for performances of Sleeping Beauty!

Both upper and lower school will enjoy performances during the morning.

Children can attend school in mufti for a suggested £1 donation.

For a suggested donation of £2 the children will receive:

-bottle of water

-packet of Snackrite crisps

-small bag of Haribo

And a disco experience!  All within the school day!

All funds will support our amazing PTA!

On Monday 21st November in the afternoon England play Iran in the World Cup.  NJS will be watching this LIVE!

We are happy for children to attend school on this date in football kits or National colours (not necessarily England, national colours of their choice) on this date if children wish to.
