Jarratt from 4S represented his cub pack in a swimming gala. He achieved 3rd place in the back stroke and received a bronze medal.  Well done Jarratt from everyone at NJS!

On Wednesday 10^th October, Newport Juniors took part in a Year 5 and 6 Tag Rugby competition.

I am delighted to say Newport Junior School did brilliantly well. We managed to win all the matches in our group and have managed to qualify into the regional finals- which are to be held at Telford Rugby Club- taking place after half term.

As well as the fantastic result, I would like to thank all of the parents who were able to come and cheer on our team. Your support was greatly appreciated, giving the children that little extra which really carried us on.

NJS Rugby Club takes place every Thursdays after school 3:30pm – 4:15pm, let myself, Mr Lawson or Miss Adleigh know if you want to come along. ALL abilities are warmly welcome.

Our date from the NHS for nasal flu vaccination is the 13th December.  Letters will come out from the NHS in a few weeks time to give information.  It will be offered to Years 3-5.
