Dear Parents and Carers,
Finally we have had some bright weather! Please can we use this as an opportunity to remind you that we would appreciate you sending necessary sun protection to school with your child. We would recommend sun hats and sun cream. Please remember staff cannot apply sun cream and we would advise you apply it to your child before they come to school or that you talk to your child about appropriate application during the school day it you are happy for them to do it themselves. If you send sun cream to school with your child we will assume you are happy for them to apply it themselves.
Please can we also remind you that children should have their own water bottle so that they can refill this during the school day.
Please make sure that sun hats, sun cream and water bottles are labelled with your child’s name to avoid confusion.
