Homework due 15th January

Read at least 3 times and ask an adult to sign your reading diary to confirm.

Learn your spellings. Complete detailed sentences and definitions in your homework book. We have moved on to revision of Year 5 spelling patterns.

Children to complete a recount of the Panto visit. Children to write using varied sentence structures and to share thoughts and feelings for the visit to Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury.

Yr6 homework due 6.1.20

Pre-Learning Task… After Christmas our new topic will be The Tudors – in particular, crime and punishment.

Over the holidays we would like you to research and present information about the Tudors. How you present your information is up to you but no PowerPoints please.

Encourage your child to carry on reading and record in reading diaries, including adult signatures to confirm reading at home.

Enjoy your Christmas holiday!

N.B: Please seek an adults permission before searching.

There is no homework this week other than reading.

Please encourage your child to read and record comments in their reading record. Children need to have home reading signed by an adult to confirm that they are reading at home.

Make an information poster on fraction calculations. The target audience is a new child to Y6. Give key instructions and use images to support understanding.
