MENTAL HEALTH MONDAY!

Good morning everyone,

This week I thought I would share a simple activity you could create at home. The emotion wheel below can be used with children of all ages, who are struggling to express their current feelings. The wheel gives children to chance to share how they are feeling and this can open many conversations at home.

Using the wheel on a regular basis will help children see the changing nature of their feelings and can help reduce anxiety around feeling a certain way. You could create the one I’ve provided or even design your own as a family!

Have a lovely week,

4J & 4P have enjoyed art inspired by Matisse today!

Well done to all of the children from 4J & 4P who have created their own versions of Matisse’s ‘Icarus’ art work this afternoon. The children are enjoying working in groups to achieve this. 4P will be finishing their work on Monday.

Shropshire Cricket Fun

For the next few weeks, we are lucky enough to have Ryan Lockley into school with us, one of the Shropshire Cricket coaches. Ryan will be working with Y3 and Y5 children, helping them improve their cricket skills. Mr Moody, Mr Leonard and I might even learn some new skills hopefully.
