Beech’s Base – W/B 11th July

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all ok. Next week the following classes will be attending Beech’s Base:

Monday 11th July: 6B

Wednesday 13th July: 3P

We are going to trial the whole class going for the Morning and Afternoon sessions as the weather is warmer 🙂

Children can arrive in their clothing for outdoor learning and clean footwear (trainers):

  • Old clothing – long sleeves and trousers no matter the weather please.
  • Gloves – even though the weather is warmer, these are useful to protect from splinters.
  • Suitable waterproof clothing if the weather is wet/ Optional waterproof trousers or all in one for water fun.

Children will need to bring in a separate named carrier bag:

  • Wellies/Outdoor Footwear
  • Carrier bag for wet/dirty clothing
  • Clothing to change into including spare socks just incase they get overwhelmed in mud/water! Uniform not required on this day.

Summer Fair Arrangements….

Summer Fair will be held on Thursday 2pm-3.15pm.

If you would like to attend the Summer Fair please collect your child at 2pm from their usual entrance/exit gate i.e.

Years 4 and 6 from the main playground, Year 5 opposite One Dental and Year 3 from the Security Gate.

From here staff will direct you and your child into school to attend the Fair on the field.

You may leave when you are ready: the gate that will remain open will be the Security Gate outside the office for you to exit through.

If you are unable to attend the Fair with your child they are welcomed to bring some money to enjoy the fair with their friends and they will be dismissed as usual at 3.15pm.  We will not allow children to leave with anyone other than their own adult unless the class teacher has received permission from you before the event.
