Healthy Eating Week 11th- 17th June

As part of the British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week we would like to encourage the children to choose one healthy challenge to get involved in next week.

Children will bring home a letter and two fact sheets encouraging them to sign up to one of two healthy choices for next week. Please read the letter with your child and decide which challenge they would like to complete.

The letter includes a grid for you to sign each day to show that they have met the challenge.

Children can show the completed grid to their class teacher on Monday 18th June.

Children who successfully complete the challenge will be rewarded with an extra playtime treat!

A huge well done to all lower school children for their hard work in creating our very own Synagogue. As part of B&V day all children learned about important religious buildings and the children in 5M’s session created this very impressive design using tissue paper. Thank you to the hard work of the staff who helped.

Year 3 Birmingham Visit – Reminders!

Year 3 are going on their trip to Birmingham tomorrow.

Children need to be in school at the normal time, 8:50am.   They don’t need their school bags, but need to bring a packed lunch and a drink to take with them – no cans – preferably screw tops.

Bring dinner in a plastic bag which is easy to throw away, or a small rucksack which they can easily carry on their back – bear in mind they will be carrying it all day.

Children need to be dressed in school uniforms, with normal school shoes. They will be outside a lot, so a waterproof coat is recommended, just in case of showers.

They do not need to bring any money.

Children will return by 4pm, traffic permitting
