Dear Parents and Carers,

Just a gentle reminder that the Homework project due date is approaching and if children would like to receive recognition / house points for their efforts, it is due by the end of next week (Friday 17th October), allowing us time to mark it.

Class 3B Deer Park Visit photos

3B had a fab time at the Deer park, learning about farming methods and different vegetables, types of deer, antlers, and tree types. And we did get to see a couple of deer too!

Class 3B Visit to Chetwynd Deer Park Thursday 9th October 9am-12pm

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you are aware, Year 3 have been given the opportunity to visit Chetwynd Deer Park this month, to take part in a 2 hour nature activity session. The first session takes place this Thursday (9th October), for Class 3B. We will be leaving promptly on Thursday so please ensure your child is on time.

We will be walking up to the pedestrian entrance (off Chester Road, opposite Deer Park Drive).  Currently, the weather forecast for Thursday is set fair, but please check on the day and dress accordingly. Children need the following:

  • wear suitable clothing and footwear for the outdoor activities (no jeans please). It may be long, wet grass / some mud, potentially.
  • a waterproof (if possible) jacket /coat as we will be outside regardless of the weather.
  • a change of footwear for when they are back in class in the afternoon

The children will leave their school bags here at school, but may take their water bottle and suitable snack.

Lunchtime will take place at school as normal. The session is free of charge. Therefore, all we require is consent for your child to take part in the trip, which you can do via ParentPay, or contact the office if you are not able to do this. Any children without consent will remain in school with the other classes in Year 3.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr Butler
