Have a great Summer!
Mrs Breen, the school librarian and Mr Rotherham take delivery of many new books for the library.
We asked the children to tell us new books they wanted to have in the library and we are thrilled to say we have many of those books now ready for them to read in September!
We also have lots of new books for our book boxes (pictures to follow) which again will be ready for September.
Please can all families have a look for any books from class book boxes and from the school library and please send them back into school so we can sort them in readiness for September.
There could be a book sitting on a shelf or under their bed that needs to come back into school! Thank you.
Book Donations.- If you have any books that are no longer wanted and you would like to donate them to our boxes or library, then we would be very grateful for them!
Thank you,
Mr Rotherham
We hope you enjoy your sports day Yr5. Here is a poem from Megh to capture the mood!
A request has been made by our neighbours that parents waiting for their children at the end of the day do not sit on the walls of private houses and please do not park in such a way as to black a car from getting in or out of their own driveway.
The neighbours have said they will be reporting vehicles that continue to do this to the police.
Thank you.
A reminder from the kitchens that the cost of a school dinner is £2.40
Thank you.
Please read and share our latest newsletter.
Promoting a love of reading and the pleasure of reading is so important. Talking about the books and discussing whether they like them or not is all part of that process.
Thank you,
Mr Rotherham
Great work 5H and you look great too!
