Dear Parents/Guardians of 3T,

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support since the children started at NJS in September. They have all made a brilliant start to their time here and I have truly enjoyed teaching them. I am confident that they will enjoy having Mrs Pearson and Mrs Wheat too.

Science in 3T

Today in Science, 3T learnt about different bones in the human body. The children learnt all the different names of the bones and some even learnt the scientific names too such as the Phalanges meaning our fingers and toes! Our friend John the skeleton joined the class to help them too.

Year 3 Homework

As part of the homework tasks, Year 3 were asked to create a model of a skeleton.

Here are 2 amazing examples by Isla H and Piper in 3T! They look superb with incredible detail.

Well done girls! 🙂

Year 4 Boys’ football

On Thursday afternoon the year 4 boys’ football team played St Peter and St Paul primary school.

The boys were superb from the first minute and raced into a 4-0 lead by half-time with goals from Luke, Harvey, Riley and George.

The 2nd half was a much tighter affair with St Peter and St Paul coming back into the game well and began to test the NJS keeper. They managed to get a goal back before Riley scored a 5th goal for NJS midway through the 2nd half.

From start to finish, all 10 boys were excellent with their attitude and teamwork and represented NJS amazingly.

Thankyou to SP and SP for hosting NJS and to all the parents/grandparents who came to watch.

Year 3 boys’ football

On Friday afternoon the year 3 boys’ football team played at NJS against St Peter and St Paul primary school.

NJS played excellently winning 4-0 with all 4 goals coming from Harry H. The opposition’s goalkeeper was forced into some superb saves too!

All 12 children represented NJS outstandingly, demonstrating our school values throughout the game as well as playing some excellent football too.

Well done to all those who played and thank you to all the adults who came to watch.
