Christmas Play Costumes

Just a quick reminder to parents that Christmas Play costumes are due on Friday. Please see the highlighted letter that children have bought home as to what they will need. (Letter also attached)

If you would like to bring them in earlier we can store them.

If you are struggling with the costume, please discuss with your child’s teacher.

Chocolate Challenge!

Year 3 don’t forget about the Chocolate Challenge! We need you to donate as much chocolate as you can before Thursday so we can win the prize!

The class with the most chocolate by weight is the winner!

Year 3 Swimming

As you know, Year 3 are swimming every Monday this half term, except next week! Week commencing the 12th we will be swimming on the Tuesday (13th), this is just for this week. After this, we will be back to normal swimming on the Monday.

Due to the filters in the swimming pool, all children must wear a swimming cap. Please ensure that all children have a swimming cap in their kits.

Origami Lunch Club

Can parents please remind children that tomorrow’s lunch origami club is cancelled. The club will resume as normal next week.

Year 3 School Trip

Just a quick reminder to parents that children need warm clothes and sensible shoes for tomorrow’s trip to Chetwynd Deer Park.

Spellings and Homework Year 3

Year 3 classes have received their homework and spellings today. All classes have their usual 10 spellings. However, this week spellings are also included on their handwriting sheets. Please could children practice both the spellings and handwriting daily for their spelling tests on Friday.

The children have also been reminded to also practice their time tables ready for Friday’s test too.

3J also have an additional piece of maths homework to complete which has been stuck in their homework books. Please complete this on the sheet.

Extra homework: some children have taken it upon themselves and have completed extra homework! How fantastic! Can we please make sure any additional homework that the children may decide to do, is done in homework books so this can be rewarded!
