4PW Anti-bullying week assembly

4PW have taken part in the BBC Anti-bullying assembly this morning. We completed all of the activities and came up with some lovely ways to disagree respectfully. We understood the importance of respect and have been working really hard to listen to each other.

4PW swimming!

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you know our day didn’t go as planned! Half of the class have been swimming and half have not… therefore we decided as a class the best and fairest thing to do would be;

Those children who are not going to Cross Country tomorrow and did NOT swim today, will have the opportunity to go tomorrow at some point.

Some children with dry swimming kits left their costumes here ready for tomorrow. If your child is not going to Cross Country tomorrow and did NOT go swimming today they are welcome to bring their kit again tomorrow and try again!

Thank you for your continuing support,

Mrs P 🙂

4PW History Lesson – Romans and Invasion

4PW have had an amazing History lesson this morning! We looked at a map of Britain and discussed where and how the Romans could invade. We talked about the tribes that were settled in Britain, Hillforts and their defensive features as well as daily life for the tribes. It was such a jam packed lesson that really got all the children chatting!

4PW TTRS Heat maps

Dear 4PW Parents and Carers,

4PW will be coming home tonight with TTRS heat maps stuck in the back of their Home Link diaries. These heat maps show which tables your child already knows and what they are good at! Red and orange are questions we need to be improving and grey tables are ones that your child doesn’t know yet. If your child has joined us in Year 4 they might have grey questions but already know the times table. This is because they need to spend more time on TTRS to improve the data it has. For the new children, we will recheck their heat maps in a few weeks once they have spent more time logging into TTRS.

Your child’s TTRS password and log in details can be found at the front of their Home Link book and a letter went home on Monday explaining how to log in – please check bags incase they have been eaten! TTRS is part of our homework.

Thank you for your continuing support! If you have any questions please speak to myself or Mrs Wheat.

Mrs P 🙂
