Dear parents and carers,
School Council have been thinking about ways we can demonstrate our school values of Compassion and Community. They decided they would like to do a mufti day to raise some money. However, we have been made aware of a national mufti day on Wednesday 16th and they we are all keen to join in and support those in Ukraine!
Therefore WEDNESDAY 16TH MARCH children will be encouraged to wear BLUE and YELLOW for a Β£1! All money raised will go towards supporting those in Ukraine.
We think this is a great way to some Community and Compassion!
Thank you for your continuing support,
Mrs P and School Council
Dear Parents and Carers,
If your child is not attending the residential at Edgmond Hall on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th please could they attend school in comfy clothes. The children who are staying at school will be doing a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors over the two days so will need comfy clothes that can get muddy and dirty. The children at school will also benefit from a spare pair of shoes (trainers or PE kit trainers etc) if their shoes get muddy when they are doing the outside activities. Children will need lunches as normal.
We have some really exciting activities planned for the children who are staying at school!
Thank you for your continuing support,

Dear parents,
3P will NOT be attending Beeches Base on Monday 13th December as it is Christmas dinner day. Children are invited to wear Christmas jumpers and join in the festivities tomorrow lunch and afternoon in class!
I will rearrange our Beeches Base visit in the new year and let you know the new date.

Dear School Council,
I am reminding you of the challenge I sent for last half term. Our school playground needs you to help. We need some games designing to help us play well together at break and lunchtimes. Some of our NJS community are finding playtimes overwhelming and some of us have even forgotten how to play together. School Council we need to help!
School Council, you need to design some games that can be laminated and put on the playground. I will laminate and ensure they are watertight. Please design an easy to play game and email it to me or give it to your teacher who will pass it onto me. I’m looking for beautifully decorated rules.
Being a part of School Council has extra responsibilities. This is one of those responsibilities. We need to help! Just because we are not able to meet in person, does not mean your role is less important.
Please help me by doing your bit.
Can’t wait to see the games you design!
Have a lovely day,
Miss W π
