This amazing resource is completely free and provides a fun, engaging and Christmassy activity for children each day in the run up to Christmas. A great way to look after our wellbeing first thing in the morning or before bed!
A massive well done to our year 5 rockers who performed their song from this term to us yesterday. We loved it! Well done for showing courage in performing in front of so many of your peers. 🤘🎸🥁🎹🎤
Please could children bring a few empty food wrappers or packaging into school by the end of this week. We are going to be looking at where in the world our different foods come from. Many thanks. (5TM have already completed this activity)
Well done to all children and families for a successful and positive first week back of the half term. Make sure you take time to relax and rest over the weekend to support your wellbeing and mental health. Here is a bonfire night meditation which some children may enjoy.

Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in some fantastic Black History Workshops on Friday provided by the Telford and Wrekin Multicultural Development Team. The children learned about why we celebrate Black History Month, countries in Africa and the Caribbean, The Windrush and The Bristol Bus Boycott.
To celebrate National Poetry Day we learnt, rehearsed and performed poems linked to our science topic.

Today we celebrated World Smile Day by having an NJS Wellbeing Day. Children have talked about mental health and learnt that everyone has mental health. Mental health is how we feel, think and behave. Some days our mental health is good, other days it is bad, and sometimes a bit of both. Children have done a range of activities today to help them learn ways to support their wellbeing at times when it might be negative, such as when they are tired, stressed, sad, angry. Our focus today has been kindness, and how showing kindness to others supports not only their wellbeing, but our own as well.
5H have had an absolutely amazing day at Beech’s Base today! We are soaked and muddy and grinning from ear to ear!
