On Thursday we have an end of term Christmas service at St Nicholas’ Church.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate parents at this service.

Please can children arrive at church between 8.30am and 9am.  This should allow time for parents with siblings at Newport Infant School to make both drop offs.

Please can Year 6 go straight to church on Wednesday 14th December for a rehearsal for their performance.

Please can children arrive between 8.45 and 9am.

Please can we ask that all of Year 5 go straight to church on Monday 12th December for a rehearsal for their performance.

Please can children arrive between 8.45 and 9am.

Tuesday 13th December: Years 3 and 4

Wednesday 14th December: Years 5 and 6

Usual charge of £2.45 applies and payment should be made via ParentPay.

On the date your child is not invited for a Christmas Dinner the only option from the catering team will be a Grab and Go: please ensure your order has been submitted in advance.

Today is St Nicholas’ Day: this is a special day for our school due to our connection with St Nicholas’ Church.

We talked about St Nicholas in assembly this morning.

Mrs Moody hid gold (chocolate!) coins around school to remind children of St Nicholas being the patron Saint of children and that he shared his wealth with the giving of coins: a tradition still marked in Christian communities around the world.

Our amazing PTA raised £744 from the school disco last week.  Huge thank you to everyone for supporting this fundraising event.
