Just to inform you our school date for the NHS to administer the flu spray for the children is the 7th December.

Consent forms will be issued in the coming weeks.

If children would like to come to school on this date wearing a blue item to show their support that would be great.  They should otherwise wear their school uniform but their socks could be replaced for blue ones, hair bobble for a blue one, jumper for a blue one etc.

No donations necessary, this is a date for raising awareness.  We will share some information in assembly on this date about diabetes.

At breaktimes from Monday 7th November, until we sell out, poppies will be on sale in the quiet area outside Mrs M’s office.

If children would like to bring a donation they are welcome to visit the sale and purchase an item from the Royal British Legion.  Recommended donations:

We are so proud of how the children have settled into their new classes this half term.  They have been working hard and enjoying their curriculum.

We hope our children have a lovely half term with family and friends.

We look forward to seeing them back in school on Monday 31st October.

You may have noticed on our dateline that we were originally planning a pantomime visit to the theatre: unfortunately we have made the decision not to proceed with this.  The cost of the visit is more than double that of last year and we feel, with current pressures, this is not appropriate to pursue.

However….. we have been able to book a pantomime company to visit us… there will be no cost to our families!  Performances will take place in school on the 25th November!
