Please make sure it is named!

We have a red lost property bin that is kept next to the school office: items that we find that are not named will be placed in here should your child lose anything.

Please help us to return items to your child by ensuring everything is named (adding your child’s class name can also save us time!!)!  This can be done with a pen or if you are interested in something colourful our PTA can gain funds from:

Just a reminder that we ask that PE kits are brought into school on a Monday and then children will bring them home on a Friday.  They can be stored in your child’s locker.

Uniform Policy

Please find attached a useful reminder of our school uniform policy: this was updated by School Governors earlier this year in line with new DFE guidance.

Arrival: Gates are open 8.45am – 8.55am:

Year 3: Security Gate

Years 4 and 5: Main playground

Year 6: opposite One Dental

Collection: Gates are open 3.15pm – 3.25pm:

If you have multiple children to drop off and collect at NJS please remember we are more than happy for you to use a gate of your choice.

If you have children to drop off and collect at Newport Infants we have an agreement with them that NJS children will be brought to school first in the morning and Newport Infant children will be collected from them first in the afternoon.
