A4 Poster NPTKD Now Open

Please find attached a poster about Tae Kwon Do in Newport.

Please can we ask that all contact forms are returned to the office as soon as possible.

We remind you that should any personal information or medical details change within the school year it is your responsibility to inform the school.

On Monday we are providing an opportunity for you to come into your child’s new class to meet the teacher and find out more about the year ahead.

We will be holding two sessions… one at 3.30pm and one at 4pm.  Please make your way into your child’s classroom.

Please do not worry if you are unable to attend: we will share the slides from the teacher presentations via the website.

We are delighted that we were able to complete works over the Summer holiday to improve our school site…

*Repair and maintenance to the Victorian block rooves.

*Redecoration and new lights in 3B.

*Exterior painting of the swimming pool.

*Completion of The Bungalow!

Our Caretaker has worked hard managing the above and a range of contractors who have completed the usual ongoing maintenance.

Newport CE Junior school has signed up to the above platform to enable parents to order pre loved uniform for free!

Simply register using the weblink above.  If you see an item you would like please ‘send a message’ stating your child’s full name and class.  The school office will then send this item home with your child on the next school day.  Easy!

We hope this helps families to access pre loved uniform with ease.

Please remember throughout the year we appreciate donations of pre loved uniform to NJS: please bring it to the school office (green jumpers, logo polo shirts, grey items, fleeces… all appreciated!)

It has been a genuine pleasure to welcome your children to NJS this week.  They have been superb.

Special welcome of course to Year 3 and children throughout the school new to NJS: it is wonderful to have you in our school family.
