NJS SIAMS Inspection Outcome….

Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to share with you the outcome of our recent SIAMS Inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). This was a robust inspection that included a learning walk of our school, paperwork analysis, pupil book looks, meetings with staff, children, parents and Governors.

I am very proud that we achieved a Judgment 1: the highest outcome for a Church of England School.  As always I am so very proud of NJS and its community.

The inspector was very complimentary about our school family, how stakeholders go above beyond and how we develop ‘good people’.  The report attached below reflects the positive findings during this inspection.

I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support for our school and the difference you all make; staff, parents/carers, Governors and of course our wonderful children.

Best wishes

Mrs Moody

Year 4 Performance Reminder

THURSDAY 12TH DECEMBER: YEAR 4 CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE

There will be two performances on this date and we ask that children are in school for both.

2pm: 2 audience members per child only.

6pm: 2 audience members per child only.

Please remember:

*Strictly two audience members per child (any siblings or babies etc will count as one audience member).  We will ask you to sign in on arrival.  Please don’t place us in the uncomfortable position of having to ask someone to leave.

*We ask that you arrive through the front security gate.

*For the evening performance the security gate will open no earlier than 5.30pm, we will ask that you drop your child into a Year 6 classroom and then make your way into the hall.

*Photographs in this performance:

We know as parents you may wish to take photos of your child in their Christmas performance.  Please note that some children, for a whole range of reasons, do not have consent for their photograph to be taken.

Please can we therefore ask that if you take photographs you try to do so only of your own child and that you do not post any photographs from this performance on social media.

*If you attend the 2pm performance we will allow you to take your child home following this if you wish to.

Dinner Arrears….

Please could we ask that families clear any dinner arrears on ParentPay.

Where possible please do try to keep accounts in credit.

Thank you for your support.
