I am looking forward to celebrating our amazing children and their success this half term.

I can accept  your special mentions up until 10am tomorrow; any received after this time I cannot guarantee will be included.

Thank you to everyone who has returned their keyworker form as requested.

Please note that we did ask everyone to ensure they checked the keyworker list: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision some have submitted forms for occupations that do not appear on this list and we may have to contact you in the next couple of days.  We hope you appreciate why we have to closely follow the guidance.

Those who have returned their forms and are confirmed keyworkers we will be able to offer provision from the 1st June and are looking to accommodate the numbers.  Any received past today it may be that we have to ask you to wait for a start date to enable us the time to organise the provision.

Your children have been amazing this half term… they have worked hard and tried new things. I’d love to surprise them by sharing some of the things you are proud of in a celebration assembly on Wednesday. Please email me Nicola.moody@taw.org.uk with a photo and short explanation of an achievement and I’ll give them a surprise mention in assembly on Wednesday at 11am. (Please note that sending me a photo confirms your consent for this to be used).

Thank you to the families who kindly responded to my search for initial potential numbers for potentially attending school in June.

Team NJS continue to make me ‘beam’ with pride.

The amazing staff at NJS are stunning.  They support me and the challenges schools face, they work in school to care for our keyworker children, they provide home learning, complete admin tasks that can so often go unnoticed and even strive to entertain you!  Remember as well our wonderful caretaking, cooking and cleaning teams who are working so hard to keep our site safe; we could not do this without them.

Parents and Carers you are doing an amazing job.  You are keeping your children safe at home and looking after them.  It is ‘tricky’ and I am sure there are moments of despair!  Don’t be hard on yourselves, do your best and most of all keep each other smiling.

Enjoy the weekend, follow the guidance; walk more if you can and cuddle your children loads.  Mrs M x
