Y5 Science Dome Wednesday and Reminders

Due to a change of timings Wednesday, 5J will NOT need to be in school early now. All 3 classes will have their dome experience during the school day.

As a reminder, for tomorrow only, Year 5 will be Swimming. From next week onwards, Swimming will be on a Monday.

Y5 P.E Schedule Spring 2

For the first week back only, Swimming will be on a Tuesday. For the remainder of the half term, it will be on a Monday.

Monday – Y5 Swimming

Tuesday – Y5 P.E.

5M’s new date for their Forest Afternoon will be Friday 1st March. This has been changed due to an earlier date clash.

We had an amazing time at the T&W Indoor Cricket tournament today. We were the only school to enter two sides and we competed well during the tournament.

Y5 Spelling Bee

We had the best time ever at Adams this afternoon at a Spelling Bee! We had 3 teams competing in different rounds including speed spelling, pangrams, anagrams and spelling crosswords. One team came 2nd out of 21 teams! Mr Rotherham presented the children with their certificates back at school.

5M Lunch and Learn

It was a privilege to have so many parents and grandparents in class yesterday. Hopefully it was a valuable insight into some of the work we do and also how things run in 5M!

Children will be going home today with a handout showcasing some of the work we did and also the Y5/6 Spelling List that was explained.
