Well done and thank you to all of our parents and carers for EVERYTHING they have done since January. You have been amazing in supporting NJS and your children during this period of Remote Learning. It has not been easy and you should be so proud of how well you have supported your child. Hopefully you will be able to take a well deserved ten minutes tomorrow for a hot cup of tea and some time for yourself!
Thank you of course to our wonderful staff team for all of their hard work facilitating our Remote Learning offer. Together we are extremely proud of the offer we have given our children with daily live lessons (from day 2!), the opportunity for as much feedback as required, continued interventions, regular contact with school staff and ‘fun’ enrichment activity on top! Staff have worked so hard with the aim of making a difference to those at home. Alongside this they have educated and cared for keyworker children on site.
Our children have shown a phenomenal resilience throughout the last few weeks. They have worked hard and done their very best. NJS children should be VERY proud of everything they have achieved. They are the reason we do what we do and however hard we have all had to work over this period they have made it worthwhile. Well done children you are all superstars.
Together, as a school family, we should be proud, we did it!
Tomorrow starts the next ‘chapter’ of our journey through this challenging time. We have everything ‘crossed’ that the children are indeed ‘back for good’ as we have desperately missed them and can’t wait to see them. Please be reassured that all of our staff will be doing their very, very best for your children over the coming weeks and months.
